The Oxfordshire side of the Cotswolds, located in the northeast corner of the AONB, is home to some of the most idyllic villages in the entire country. Among them is Broadwell, a small spot that some say is the largest village green in the region, a place to sit by the local pub, stroll through the countryside and watch cars carefully ford the stream that runs through the village. near the old red telephone booth.
It is in this magical location that you will find Millbrook House, which is being sold by Luke Morgan, who recently teamed up with Dominic Spencer-Churchill of London agents DS Churchill to establish the firm’s Cotswold office based in Chipping Norton. Built around 1720 and later enlarged by Guy Dauber around 1890, Millbrook House is a fine rustic home set in charming grounds overlooking the paddocks and stream from which it takes its name.
